Enduring humiliating adornments and parched conditions, these penitent pines uplift your holiday by paying the ultimate price, until…

The Eve of the Undead Christmas Trees!

Pen and ink illustration of a bare, evil Christmas tree haunting a darkened hallway.
A haunting, needle-bare, desiccated undead Christmas tree stalks down a darkened hallway on Christmas Eve.
Sleep tight tonight, it may be your last.
You'll pay the price for Christmas'passed.
No sugar plum fairies, no Santa's call–
The undead trees walk your halls!
With sharp, dry needles, hardened sap–
Conifers eschew all Christmas crap.
They sweep your home of Seuss and goose,
Of gifts and candy and pretty wrapping.
But 'fore we curse their untoward will,
Hark! They leave behind your credit card bill.

Ah, shucks, just a little humor for the holidays! I wish you a happy holiday, and keep reading, keep laughing! Früliche Weihnachten und ein gutes, neues Jahr!
